  2. some have socio-religious uses, e.g. Gabbro people use camel for their spiritual practices.

  4. some communities sacrifice them for their gods to appease them
  5. some of food in terms of meat and milk
  6. recreational purposes eg ridding competition

  1. DROMEDARY CAMEL-CAMELUS DROMEDARIES

-They have single hump

-they are also called Arabian camel

-they are native of dry desert of Asia

-they are reared in  Kenya and are used for ridding

2. BACTARIAN- CAMELUS BACTRIUNUS

-It has two humps

-it provide animal power like cart pulling , carrying of goods
